Do you know the difference between Modular and Manufactured Homes?
Modular homes are homes that are built to conform to all state, local, or regional codes where the home will be located.
Manufactured homes are built to a federal code called the "HUD" housing code.
Modular homes typically are easier to finance because they are attached to a permanent foundation.
Manufactured homes have an attached frame built underneath for transport and remain after the home is set-up.
Manufactured homes are sometimes referred to as Doublewide or Singlewide models.
Our modular homes also have a frame for transport but have the option to remove the frame on site and attach the structure directly to a permanent foundation. This type of modular is known as "Off-frame."
At Country Fair Homes we have 8 different models available on display at our office in Sanford. We try and offer a wide range of options displaying the endless possibilities available for your new custom built home. On our lot we have 3 off-frame modular homes as well as 3 doublewide models. We also have a Singlewide and a Park Model option to serve our customers in many surrounding areas like Raleigh, NC and Fayetteville, NC.
We now have 2 additional models available through a brand new application called DiveIN. It allows customers a chance to custom build their home with many popular features and upgrades and then take a virtual tour. Click the links below to view the 3277 and 381 models.
We also have some video tours of other models that we custom build.
